Living the legacy of Shri Ashokji Singhal, 'Bharatma Veda Puraskars' have been conferred upon the students of Vedas at Chinmaya Mission, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The major goal of this award is to honour the excellence in the subject of Vedas.
Highest National Ved Awards it is given yearly in 4 completely different classes of Uttam Veda Vidyarthi, Adarsh Vedadhyapak, Uttam Veda Vidyalaya and Vedarpit Jeevan Samman. Three, 5, seven and 5 lakh rupees are given respectively.
