Bangalore, October 23, 2026: BharathCloud, a Hyderabad-based sovereign AI cloud service provider, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the High-Technology Technopark “IT-Park” in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, to promote collaboration in AI and cloud infrastructure between India and Russia.

The agreement was formalised during the II Russia-India Business Forum “TIME”: Russia-India Mutual Efficiency Business Forum 2026, which convened businesses and industry leaders to discuss cooperation in AI and cloud investment. The MoU sets out a framework for joint ventures, cross-border business partnerships, and digital infrastructure collaboration, including tailored AI and cloud solutions for companies across various sectors.

Focus on joint ventures and business exchange

Under the terms of the MoU, BharathCloud and IT-Park will work to connect businesses from both countries, support IT Park resident companies, and organise industry events, training programmes, workshops, and business delegations to facilitate knowledge exchange. The framework also allows for discussions on infrastructure support, expert assistance, and collaborative projects. BharathCloud is proposing the establishment of cloud embassies to further strengthen cross-border digital infrastructure.

Industry participation and leadership statements

Rahul Takkallapally, Co-Founder of BharathCloud, was invited by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan to participate in the forum’s “IT Bridge: Technologies Connecting Russia and India” session, which focused on AI and cloud collaboration opportunities. The Bharath Digital Infrastructure Association (BDIA) also took part in the MoU, aiming to bring together industry stakeholders from both countries to explore further collaboration and business partnerships in AI and cloud technologies.

“As businesses look at opportunities beyond their home markets, access to the right AI & Cloud ecosystem and local business networks becomes important. This MoU gives us a platform to engage with partners in Tatarstan, understand areas of mutual interest and explore how Indian and Russian technology companies can work together on future opportunities,” said Rahul Takkallapally, Co-Founder, BharathCloud.

Ruslan Vlasov, Director of High-Technology Technopark ‘IT-Park’, Kazan, said the agreement aims to foster stronger ties between the business ecosystems of India and Russia and help firms explore each other’s markets and future joint projects.

Strengthening digital infrastructure ties

The collaboration is expected to open new channels for business between Tatarstan and India, enabling contact establishment, experience exchange, and new growth opportunities. The initiative aims to build a bridge between industry networks and businesses in both countries to support AI and cloud collaboration and digital infrastructure development.
