National, October 26, 2026: Air India Express has been named among India’s top four brand movers for October 2026 in the latest YouGov BrandIndex rankings, which measure consumer perceptions of more than 500 brands across the country.
The monthly BrandIndex ranking highlights brands that have shown the most significant improvements in consumer perception. Air India Express recorded gains across five key metrics: Buzz, Reputation, Recommend, Consideration, and Current Customer, according to YouGov.
Brand perception and customer experience
The airline has reported a notable rise in its Net Promoter Score (NPS), indicating increased guest satisfaction and advocacy. More than two-thirds of Air India Express’s fleet now consists of brand-new aircraft, as the airline continues to focus on network expansion, fleet modernisation, and enhancing customer experience.
Initiatives such as the Tales of India aircraft tail art programme and Gourmair, the airline’s inflight dining experience inspired by Indian cuisine, have contributed to reinforcing the carrier’s brand identity and celebrating the country’s cultural diversity.
Winter schedule expansion
The recognition comes as Air India Express launches its largest-ever Winter Schedule from October 25, 2026. The airline plans to expand operations to around 585 daily flights, including approximately 435 domestic and up to 150 international departures, supported by a fleet of more than 105 aircraft. The expanded schedule aims to strengthen connectivity across India and key international destinations in South, Southeast, and West Asia.
