Taxpayers’ Union Campaigns Manager, Callum Purves, mentioned:
“The vital opposition to the revenue insurance proposal exhibits that New Zealanders can see this ‘levy’ for what it’s: A brand new tax. One that can value somebody working full time on the median wage over $800 a 12 months. This flies within the face of Labour’s election dedication to introduce ‘no new taxes’.
