Coimbatore: A two-day national-level summit on health insurance began in the city on Sunday.
With the theme ‘redefining health insurance – a collaborative approach to building sustainable healthcare system’, the National Insurance Summit 2023 was jointly organized by the Indian Medical Association‘s (IMA) Hospital Board of India and General Insurance Council
“The summit’s objective is to provide healthcare professionals and service providers with the knowledge and methods to increase awareness among the public on insurance. It is also on helping patients during medical emergencies by working together with insurance companies,” chairman of IMA Hospital Board of India AK Ravikumar said.
