86% of Indian employees responded positively to a sense of pride in
2023: Great Place To Work India announces ‘Best Companies to Work

For’ 2023

MUMBAI, JUNE 15, 2023: Great Place To Work® India announced ‘Best Companies to Work For 2023,
recognized under the category – ‘Top 100 Companies’ along with ‘India’s Most Trusted Leaders’,
‘Laureates’ and ‘Nation Builders’ at an event recently at Westin Powai, Mumbai. It saw participation
from over 500 delegates comprising a speaker line-up of R S Subramaniam, Managing Director, DHL
Express, and Sumit Rai, Managing Director, Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance, among others. Reliance
Industries, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, Flipkart, etc. were some companies who were honored at the event.
Released at the event, the Great Place To Work report found that 89% of senior employees feel most
positive of pride, and 84% of them respond positively to fairness and respect for their workplaces.
Employees under the age of 25 years respond least positively to a sense of Pride and fairness, each
making about 85% and 81%, respectively. The data cuts by gender indicated that male employees
demonstrate greater credibility, camaraderie, fairness, respect, and Pride than female employees. The
research predominantly enumerates that when employees across the demographics experience a great
workplace, organizations record a significant increase of 8 percent productivity and 10 percent more
celebration of innovation at the workplace. It surveyed 45L+ lacs employees from 1394 companies.
