Sant Hirdaram was an Epitomi of Selfless service – Chouhan


Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Sant Hirdaram was an epitomi of selfless service. He had come to the world for service. His entire life was for service. Chouhan was addressing a social worker, senior citizens felicitation ceremony at Sant Hirdaram auditorium. The programme was organized by Sanskar Prabuddh Nagrik Manch. Chouhan said that such programmes must be organized regularly.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that living for the country, society and others is living in the true sense of the word. People who dedicate their lives in service of the society should be honoured. He said that India has a glorious history. When there was no trace of culture and civilization, at that time richa (shlokas) came into existence, universities were functioning. He said that the civilization that developed on the banks of Sindhu, created the great India. It hopes for welfare of the world and gives the message to consider it a family. He said that the struggle of evil and good is eternal. People with god thinking and good work continue to make efforts. He said that some people tried to spread violence in the state. Such elements must be destroyed. Along with this efforts must be made to awaken humanity. His fast was one such effort.

The Chief Minister said that workplan for redressal of the region’s problems is ready. Needs and thoughts of all must be included in this work plan. For this suggestions may be given before the Divisional Commissioner and Collector between June 15 to June 25. He told that the formula of giving pattas is also ready for the entire state. Society must have deliberations over it. He expressed the need for construction of railway overbridge with the support of the central government.

Siddha Bhau Ji lauded the creative works undertaken by the government for people’s welfare. He said that other states have also followed several innovative schemes of the state related to the girl child. He said that kindness is the basis of Dharma. One who is not kind can never be happy. About the importance of cow he told about the importance of Panchgavya treatment. He lauded the felicitation ceremony and said that this will inspire the future generation.

MP Alok Sanjar said that whatever efforts have been made for redressal of problems in the state are remarkable. Government’s efforts are being appreciated everywhere. He said that the successful attempt of extinguishing the fire of violence through the cool waters of fasting has affected people’s representatives of other states. MLA Rameshwar Sharma in his welcome address told that attempt is being made to name Bairagarh railway station after Sant Hirdaram. He said that the citizens are committed to keep high thinking alive.

At the onset of the ceremony guests lit the lamp before the portraits of Bharat Mata and Sant Hirdaram. Chief guest Chouhan released the magazine of the samaj and felicitated social workers and senior citizens. Girls sang the welcome song and Vande Mataram at the end of the programme. Guests were given mementos.
