RD Memorial To Host State’s First Ever International Conference On Ayurveda & Yoga

  • Yoga and Ayurvedacharyas from various institutions in India, Cyprus, Greece, Russia and UK to participate
  • Conference to discuss latest research and treatments for psychosomatic disorders
  • More than 1000 delegates to attend, 500 abstracts to be presented

Bhopal, November, 2017 : RD Memorial Ayurved College & Hospital, Berkhedi Kalan, Bhadbhada Road will host a two day international conference on Ayurveda & Yoga . First of its kind Conference will witness presence of Yoga and Ayurvedacharyas from India, Cyprus, Greece, Russia and UK. These guests speakers will deliberate on latest research and treatments in the field of psychosomatic disorders. More than 1000 delegates from different parts of country are likely to attend the conference. Revenue minister Mr Umashankar Gupta will inaugurate  He will also release a souvenir on the occasion.

Conference organising committee patron Mr Hemant Singh Chauhan informed this at a press conference organised here on Thursday. Committee members Dr. Prashant Math, Dr. Rachna Jain and Dr. R.P. Singh also discussed agenda of the International Conference.

Mr Chauhan said The seminar is being conducted keeping in view of initiative for International recognition of Yoga by our Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. Uniqueness of this seminar will be bringing the soul sisters of health system- Ayurveda and Yoga on a single platform to combat the most burning issue of the present era – the psychosomatic disorders. World Health Organisation too has kept 2017 theme as Depression, therefore we have also kept Conference theme around it.

Giving outline of the conference Mr Chauhan said the speakers will talk about role of Yoga in psychosomatic disorders, importance of Ayurveda Chikitsa in social media addiction, easy approach towards stress management through Ayurveda & Yoga and new research prospects in the field of psychosomatic disorders.

Mr Chauhan informed that Dr. Oleg Sorokin, Maria Theocharous, Dr. Prashant Kakoday, Prof M S Baghel, Prof. P. K. Prajapati, Dr. Parmeshwar Arora, Dr. Nitin Agarwal, Dr. Vinay Mishra, Dr. Dilip Nalge, Dr. Narendra Jain and  Dr. Nishi Arora would be delivering lectures during the conference. Besides as many as 500 abstracts will also be presented, out of this three best abstracts will be awarded.

The International Conference will also witness unique Ayurveda Food Fest on 18th November wherein students from around country will be presenting their culinary skills by preparing the dishes using the Ayurvedic herbs and medicines. The competition will be held in two categories with fire and without fire. Best two dishes will be awarded with prize and certification.
