Madhya Pradesh can establish its new identity in the data centre business. For this, 690 acres of land is available at 9 different places in the state. Companies coming to this area will also get a concession of up to 75 percent in the cost of setting up units on government land. The possibilities of this field were discussed in detail by Chief Minister Mr. Kamal Nath, Vice President of Amazon Web Service, Mr. Max Peterson, today on the third day of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. He informed to Chief Minister that at present, the company is operating in 6 locations including New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai. It has data centers in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. In Madhya Pradesh too, the company wants to register its revenue.
Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath said that all the circumstances required for the data center such as business, land, electricity and labor are available in Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier, the Chief Minister met Mr. Bourge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum, and Mohammad Yunus Ali, owner of the Lulu Group.
