23 October 2019, India: India’s leading biscuits and confectionery manufacturer, Parle Products, today announced the winner of its ‘Parle-G Khao, Crores Ke Inaam Pao’ contest, Hyderabad based Jangapalli Nagaraju who won the bumper prize, Renault Triber at Renault Hyderabad’s Begumpet Showroom.
Kick-started in June during ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, the Parle-G promotional contest offered opportunities for consumers to win exciting prizes such as Amazon vouchers, mobile recharge, gold gift vouchers, smartphones, international holiday Vouchers as well as a car. The company released two TVCs across TV channels in both metros as well as 10 regional markets including, Kerala, Odisha, Assam, Punjab, etc. Physical vouchers in select Parle-G packs were distributed PAN India.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayank Shah, Sr. Category Head, Parle Products, said, “We are overwhelmed with the response our contest, Parle-G Khao, Crores Ke Inaam Pao received. The campaign allowed us to connect with our consumers directly, who love this iconic biscuit so much. After being gifted the car, Jangapalli Nagaraju posed in what was described by him; as one of the best days of his lives. He said, “It was quite astonishing at first! People don’t know that they’re going to receive something as big as a car in an offer pack. Parle-G has been my favourite treat since childhood and is very dear to my heart. I am truly thankful to God and Parle team to make my dream come true ahead of Diwali!”
Throughout the campaign, numerous other winners were also awarded prizes such as mobile phones, gold gift vouchers, shopping vouchers and, another one of the consumers, bagged an international holiday gift voucher.
