Playback singer Vishal Kothari live in concert at Signature Tunes by Swar Aalap

Mumbai, August 2019 : “Signature Tunes”, a live musical concert conceptualised and conducted by Swar Aalap on 14th August 2O19 at St. Andrews Auditorium, Mumbai was a grand success!

The event was filled with glitters and extremely talented people where we got to witness a heavenly world of music. The legendary music composer and arranger Uttam Singh Ji was honoured in this event.

Indian Idol fame Vishal Kothari was the centre stage performer for the evening with his magical voice and aura!. He began his performance by giving tribute to his Idol Mohd. Rafi. He has sung songs from retro to modern-day contemporary music catering to all age group audiences. Watching him perform live with multi-genre songs was a delightful experience

The evening had packages of surprises and one of them was Lambergini sensation, Ragini Tandon performing the original tune from which Lambergini song was inspired by blending it with Lambergini.

Later, on the occasion of Independence Day Martyr Kaustabh Rane’s wife, Kanika Rane was felicitated with Posthumous award.

Music composer Uttam Singh said that “Swar Aalap is the only organisation in which Musicians who work behind the curtains are being felicitated. It’s a very unique concept. This year I’m being felicitated and for this, I would like to thank Swar Aalap.

On talking about the event, Dinesh Ghate said, ” Swar Aalap was established in 2002 with the aim of honouring great musicians, the unsung heroes because of whom today lakhs of musicians earn their bread and butter by playing their music. It was a great experience felicitating music veterans Uttamji, also it’s was a great experience working with Vishal Kothari and many more. I hope to continue this legacy and witness such legendary musicians performing.”

Having a conversation with Vishal Kothari, he said that, “It was a great experience for me to perform in front of legendary music composer and arranger Uttamji and I’m looking forward to more such opportunities.”
