Chef Ravish To Take Bhopalites On His Culinary Journey- A Ten Day Food Festival

Bhopal, November, 2018 : Get ready to tickle your taste buds with some lip smacking street food from Delhi & Mumbai. Courtyard Marriott has announced a 10 day ‘Chandni Chowk to Chowpaty street food festival’ at its multi cuisine restaurant- MoMo Café between 7 to 11 pm. The festival, which begun today brings the famous parathas, chaat and chola bhatura of Delhi’s Chandni Chowk and vada pav, pav bhaji, ragda patties and bhelpuri from Mumbai’s Chaupati.

Chef Asif, while addressing a press conference here on Friday said “Indian street food is a blend of sweet and sour and spicy and tangy flavours —all often in one dish — and the variety of textures. In street food havens like Chowpatty and Chandni Chowk, it is possible to make a full meal out of street food, moving from shop to shop, feasting on chaat, kachori, pav bhaji and ragda patties, ending with some piping hot jalebis. We have brought together two different cuisines under one roof.”

He further said that “Both this location is special, important, delicious, tasty, array of flavours, popular, highly accepted cuisines, unique yet so different in all aspect, both the cuisine are pole apart in terms of ingredients, cooking style, taste and flavours. Every Indian knows what to accept from these two land mark destinations of gourmet world, no surprises just burst of flavours in every bite”.

Some of the dishes from Mumbai would include Bombay Pao Bhaji, Kalyan Vada Pav, CST Bhajia,  Bhel Poori, Ragda Pattie, Ice Gola, Batata Rassa, Dabeli, chowpati chana chaat, Mumbai Frankie, Bade Miyan Kebab, Khao Galli Band kebab, Muska Band, Komdi Vada, Anda Burjee, Bagada Fry, Juhu Ka Gola, Kulfi Falooda.

Cuisines from Delhi will include Natraj Ke Dahi Bhalle, Paranthe Wali Gali Ke Paranthe, Moth Dal Kachori with Aloo Bhaji, Aloo Chhole Tikki, Bread Pakoda, Mutter Kulcha, Tookri Chaat, Sakarkandi Ki Chaat and many more.
