Business Excellence & Research Group (BERG) Singapore announced that the Icons of Learning (www.iconsoflearning.com) Conclave & Awards nite would be held on November 24, 2016 at Royal Palm, The Central, Clarke Quay, Singapore.
In its 3rd year, the “Icons of Learning”, earlier called the BERG Education Awards aims to identify and recognise the immense amount of work that is being done by Individuals & Institutions, big & small, across the length & breadth of Asia. The topic of the conclave this time is “Changing Paradigm of Learning in the Digital Age.”
Icons of Learning is a unique Global Platform that brings together various stakeholders in the education & life-long learning ecosystem for an exchange of ideas and best practices from South & South East Asia. There will be an active participation from EduTech Startups, Education Institutions, Training organisations, Governments, Consultants and related institutions engaged in education & learning from SE Asia.
The Icons of Learning Awards that would follow the conclave, would honour individuals and institutions who have immensely impacted the education & learning arena in their respective geographies.
In the previous conclave, a panel discussion on “skills development & entrepreneurship – managing life-long learning” was held with panellists comprising Dr. S.S.Mantha – past chairman AICTE, Mr. Manish Tripathy – Board member, Global Schools Foundation, Singapore, Dr. Shyama Raju – Chancellor, REVA University, Bangalore and Mr. Zafar Anjum – author, Startup Capitals.
“Education & learning is seen as one of the key sectors to support the growth ecosystem particularly in the emerging markets of South & SE Asia and we aim to bring together some of the finest professionals for a knowledge sharing & enriching session, followed by recognition to applaud their efforts in the sector” said Vishwesh Iyer, Managing partner, BERG Singapore.
Conceptualised, organised & hosted by Singapore-based Business Excellence & Research Group (BERG), the Icons of Learning 2016 are being organised for a third year in a row. The awards do not just recognise the great work, but also enable a sharing of knowledge and networking opportunities for the professionals. The aim is to provide a global benchmark & recognition.
