National Awards conferred on M.P. Tourism handed over to the CM Chauhan
Bhopal : National Awards of Best Tourism State along with 5 other awards conferred on Madhya Pradesh Tourism were handed over to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Mantralaya today. Expressing his joy over the Best State Tourism Award for Tourism Sector Chouhan congratulated the entire Tourism Team and gave his best regards.
Chouhan said that Tourism Development is the priority of the State- Government. He expressed his hope of doing worthwhile work in the future also in the Tourism Sector.
The National Award for Best Tourism State handed over to Chief Minister Chouhan, Best Disabled Friendly Monument to Amarkantak (Madhya Pradesh), Award jointly given to Bhopal for developing Heritage Walk, Most Innovative Unique Tourism Project, Award jointly given to Art Icon Maihar and Best Tourism Guide Award given to Jeewan Jyoti Pateria is included.
On this occassion member of the Council of Ministers, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Surendra Patwa, Chairman of State Tourism Development Corporation Tapan Bhaumik and Managing Director Hari Ranjan Rao were present. Rao informed about the prestigious national awards received by Madhya Pradesh.
