Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh State Bio-diversity Board has started a special scheme to distribute saplings of rare and extinction-prone tree species. Saplings are being distributed through government and non-government organisations to persons interested in conserving bio-diversity. Distribution will continue till July 30.
Distribution of 26 species
Bio-diversity Board is making available saplings of 26 species including Adusa, Beel, Chirayata, Satawar, Sindoor, Amaltas, Guggal, Aonla, Gadha Palash, Krishnawat, Kaitha, Gooler, Khirni, Harichampa, Meethi Neem, Harsingar, Sonapatha, Kanakchampa, Sarpgandha, Sita-Ashok, Arjun, Bahera, Giloye, Paraspeepal, Nirgundi and Ashwagandha. These saplings are being provided as per interest and demand to organisations, individuals, colleges and schools.
