60 families lighten up their houses by paying outstanding dues in Bhind district


Bhopal :Rambabu Sanwla at Sadar Bazar, Gohad in Bhind district had to be deprived of electricity due to outstanding electricity bill dues. Now, he visited complaint redressal camp at police station level at Gohad, deposited bill dues amounting to Rs. 9,721 and got his house lighten up again. All his family members are happy with return of electricity. Such happiness has also been shared by 60 other families of Ater, Gohad, Lahar and Bhind. Lashkar Road resident  Vipin Sharma deposited Rs. 5,036,  Ram Naresh Rajawat of Basediya Nagar Rs. 9,755,  Ramesh Singh of Meera Colony Rs. 18 thousand 505,  Laxmi Singh of Saraswati Nagar Rs. 12 thousand 590 and  Bhanwar Singh Yadav deposited electricity bill dues amounting to Rs. 19 thousand 20 and got severed connections re-installed to lighten up their homes.

At the camp, about 36 persons deposited bill dues of Rs.; 4 lakh 66 thousand to get connections back. At Ater, 6 consumers deposited Rs. one lakh 17 thousand.  Chhote Singh of Mehgaon deposited Rs. 19 thousand to re-connect power supply to his house.  Vinod Joshi also deposited Rs. 26 thousand. At Lahar,  Maharaj Singh,  Tilak Singh and  Rinku Dohare got back electricity connections by depositing Rs. 30 thousand.

In Bhind district, complaint redressal camps are being held at 26 places to dispose of complaints pertaining to electricity bills, meters, new connection’s sanction and maintenance etc.
