CM Chouhan reviews preparations at Ninaura
Bhopal :Global level arrangements should be ensured for ideological Mahakumbh. During it, every guest and scholar from country and abroad should be given maximum respect and protocol. All departments should discharge given tasks properly. This was stated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while reviewing preparations for ideological Mahakumbh at Ninaura in Ujjain district today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Heads of 2 countries, ambassadors of 13 countries, 121 international scholars and 734 Indian scholars will attend the ideological Mahakumbh. Chief Ministers of several states, Union Ministers etc will also attend it.
Those present at the meeting of organizing committee included Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Shri Surendra Patwa, Simhastha Central Committee’s Chairman Shri Makhan Singh, Organising Committee’s President Anil Madhav Dave, MP Dr. Chintamani Malviya, Chief Secretary Anthony de Sa, ACS, Principal Secretaries and other senior officers of various departments.
For guests, 1020 rooms in 19 hotels at Indore have been booked. Eight helipads have been prepared at the venue of Mahakumbh. For transportation, 30 A/C coaches and 350 cars have been booked. Guests will be greeted by applying Tilak on forehead and garlanding at airport and railway station. On arrival at hotel, they would be felicitated with shawls and coconuts. A separate nodal officer has been appointed to host every guest.
Public Relations Department is also setting up an all-equipped media centre near the venue at Ninaura for publicity and media coverage. A grand and state-of-the-art conference hall is being constructed. It has been named as Vikramaditya conference hall. Other minor conference halls are being named after Kalidas conference hall and Sandipani conference hall.
The Chief Minister directed that along grandeur, divinity should also be visible in the arrangements. An attractive and modern exhibition should also be put up at the venue. The Chief Minister also directed for arrangements regarding holy dip of guests in Kshipra river and tour of Mela area.
PWD will develop parking place on 15 hectares, barricading in 3.5 kms and roads in 2.50 kms. PHE Department is installing 2 RO plants at the venue.
A special natural cottage has been built for stay of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It has been named as ‘Panchvati’. Chief Minister Chouhan will also stay in such a cottage named ‘Chitrakoot’. Special attention has been paid to natural beauty at the programme venue.
