Mela administration makes war-footing efforts

Through war-footing efforts, Mela administration has removed all hurdles and restored normalcy in Ujjain Kumbh Mela area after a cyclonic storm. Mela area is returning to normal since early morning today. Fallen Pandals are being re-erected. Welcome arches unworthy of repairs are being removed.
Mangalnath zone has borne the brunt of cyclonic rains. Here power was restored first of all. Water supply has been resumed. Mud is being removed from kuchha roads which are levelled through road rollers. Traffic has returned to pathways. For survey of 385 Pandals in Mangalnath zone, 35 teams have been constituted. Home Guard, Municipal Corporation and Revenue Department’s staff has been pressed into service to remove fallen Pandals.
Devotees are getting Prasadi as free meals are going on as usual at Radha Mohan Swami Girraj Annakshetra, Radhasarveshwari Goverdhan Dham, Khak Chowk. Pramukh Acharya Siavallabh Dasji of Katavadhan Sewa Samiti Annakshetra described Mela administration’s works laudable. After such a massive cyclonic storm, it was a challenging task to restore normalcy which the Mela administration did by working on a war-footing. Unflinching devotion and commitment of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is praiseworthy, he added.
