CM enquires about well being of Tirth Yatris in Chimanganj Krishi Upaj Mandi


Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Ujjain in the early morning at 4.15 am today to review war-footing efforts to normalize situation following loss of lives and property due to gale and rains in Simhastha Mela area. He sought information from higher officers engaged in disaster management about health facilities being provided to the injured. He also took stock of cleanliness of Kshipra river. The Chief Minister also visited hospital and enquired about health of the injured.

Later, the Chief Minister visited Chimanganj Krishi Upaj Mandi where prompt arrangements for stay and feeding of Yatris were made immediately after the calamity on May 5 by School Education Minister Shri Paras Jain. The Chief Minister served tea from kettle himself to Tirth Yatris
