Toilet Sanitizer Star Up Idea Wins Young Indians Dream Star Up Challenge

Bhopal, March, 2018: The toilet sanitizer idea of Sheetal & Ashish Badole, a couple and young start ups, has won the CII Young Indians & Rabindranath Tagore University Dream Start Up Challenge 2018. The winners were given away a cash prize of Rs.75,000 and a certificate of appreciation at a function organised at Rabindranath Tagore University auditorium. Amit Vyas of I-Mature was adjudged runner of the competition. He was given away a cash prize of Rs.50,000.

Earlier in the day the 8 shortlisted finalists start-ups presented their business plan before the jury. The jury consisted of Prof Satyajeet Mazumdar from Tata Institute, Mumbai; Mr M.C. Abraham, Founder, THEV Consulting; Mr Abhijeet Kumar, founder, AH Ventures; Mr Sandro Stefen, regional head, Indian Angel Network and Mr Rahul Agrawal, venture capitalist.

The jury members in their address listed out the areas of improvements and how to make a venture viable and successful.

The shortlisted finalists were being mentored by CII Young Indians Bhopal Chapter chair (E&I) Siddharth Chaturvedi and mentor Nikhil Kaushik.

CII Young Indians Bhopal Chapter chair Saurabh Sharma in his address said that the Startup Challenge is being organised for last three years with an objective to promote young entrepreneurs in Madhya Pradesh.
