TiECon Pune on Saturday announced the opening of registrations for this year’s event. This is the fourth conference of the Pune edition of the body will take place on April 15 at The Westin.
The event will consist of a venture capitalist (VC) roundtable, which will provide start-ups and small businesses with an opportunity to pitch to a panel of investors to raise equity funding. It will also comprise of an expo where start-ups can exhibit their products.
The event will feature top industry businessmen and entrepreneurs speaking at the event which include, Sanjeev Bajaj, CMD Bajaj Finserv, Hari Menon, Co-founder & CEO, BigBasket.com, Ambareesh Murty, Founder & CEO, Pepperfry, Padmaja Ruparel – Cofounder & President, Indian Angel Network (IAN) and Sanjay Katkar – Managing Director and CTO, Quick Heal Technologies.
Representing the state will be Anil Bhargava (Retired), Member – Technology, Telecom Commission, MCTE, Government of India, Surendra Bagde, Industry Commissioner, Government of Maharashtra and Surendra Bagde, Industry Commissioner, Government of Maharashtra.
Commenting on the opening of registrations, Kiran Deshpande, President, TiE Pune says, “This year’s event will comprise of 800 key decision makers from various industry segments. Participants will also have an opportunity to interact with TiE Pune Leadership responsible for TiE Pune’s highly successful mentoring program Nurture, in its fifth version now and has provided organised mentoring to over 50 startups since its inception.”
The event will provide start-ups a chance to engage the audience with their product/ offering live, make live pitches to VCs/investors, attract great talent for their venture and generate feedback from customers/ users.
