Tata Power on Wednesday culminated the company’s centennial celebrations with the commissioning of 450-megawatts (MW) of hydropower capacity.
“The company, having successfully served the nation for over 100 years, achieved yet another milestone: the 450-MW of hydropower has been successfully commissioned in the centenary year,” the company said in press release.
It further said that Tata Power will now aspire to add up to 40% generation capacity through non-fossil options to its incremental portfolio.

On Wednesday, the stock of Tata Power closed up 0.17% or Rs 0.10 at Rs 59.30 on the BSE.
