Giving stern instructions to officials Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made it clear that stern action should be taken against criminals and anti-social elements. He said that a procession will be taken out of those who misbehave with girls or engage in eve-teasing. He said that “I want stern action, action and only action against criminals, I want results at any cost”. S.Ps and I.Gs who are not able to give results will be removed. He said that police activity should be noticeable everywhere so that it generate a sense of security in the citizens.
CM Chouhan was addressing state’s Commissioner, I.G., Collector and S.P. through video conferencing today. Home Minister Bhupendra Singh, Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Directr General of Police Rishi Kumar Shukla were also present on the occasion.
Shri Chouhan said that action should be taken against criminals in such a manner that it should send a chill down their spine. Anti-social elements and criminlas endangering people’s security should be broken financially. Faith should be created in people at any cost. He said that rating of every district will be done. In this connection, a review will be conducted again after seven days. Superintendents of Police and Inspector Generals of Police who do not give results will be removed. He praised districts that have done good work. These districts include Indore, Dhar and Hoshangabad. He expressed anger at delay in action against criminals. He made it clear that negligence will not be tolerated. He gave directions to make necessary arrangements during the processions tasken out on festive occasions like Ram Navmi etc.
Special Gram Sabhas to be held on March 21 for registation of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana
CM Chouhan directed that farmers should not face any difficulty during wheat purchase on MSP and in Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. A decentralized registration system should be made for the farmers to ensure that they do not face any difficulty. The information that farmers can sell their produce till coming July 15 should reach farmers and until then they can keep their produce in the warehouse. Government will pay the rent of storing the farmers’ produce in warehouse and if need arises, farmers can avail a loan of 25 percent the interest of which will also be paid by government. Special Gram Sabha will b organised on coming March 21 for registration of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. Also, the process of verification should be completed.
CM Chouhan said that apart from support price of Rs 1735 per quintal wheat, Rs 265 per quintal incentive amount will be deposited in the accounts of farmers under Mukhya Mantri Kisan Samriddhi Yojana. If the farmer sells his wheat in the Mandi also, he will still be given the incentive. Rs 200 per quintal on the wheat and paddy sold last year will also be given to the farmers.
Collectors to be responsible for wheat purchase and Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana
Chouhan said that Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana is the government’s remarbale ambitious scheme. All divisional commissioners should monitor it. If farmers face any problem in it implementation, the concerned district collector will be held responsible. It will be reviewed again after seven days. He said that arrangement will be made for purchase of gram, masoor and mustard will begin on March 26.
Campaign for registration of unorganised labourers from April one
Shramik Sammelan to be held in every district
The Chief Minister instructed that a campaign should be launched from coming April one to 14 for the registration of unorganised labourers. No eligible labourer should be left out in the campaign. Shramik Sammelan will be organized in all districts between coming April 16 and May 15. Eligible labourers can avail benefits of welfare schemes particularly Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, patta distribution, Ujjwala Yojana, e-rickshaw, handcart, education-medical and maternity assistance and related schemes at the sammelans. Besides, they will be imparted information about the welfare schemes. Better arrangements be made at the sammelans.
The Chief Minister said that significant schemes have been launched for welfare of labourers. Only registered labourers can avail the benefits of these schemes. Therefore, registraton work should be carried out in the most transparent manner in camps. Registration process should be simplified so that labourers do not face difficulty. He made it clear that such labourers should be in the age group of 18 to 60, those who are not income tax payers, are not in government service and do not own more than 2 hectare land will be considered unorganised labourers. Registration will be free-of-cost and will be valid for five years.
Chouhan said that unique and remarkable schemes have been launched in Madhya Pradesh for the welfare of farmers and labourers. These significant schemes should be implemented will full determination so that the concerned persons avail its benefits. No laxity will be tolerated in this..mpinfo.org
