State wide Campaign to be conducted to preserve rain water: CM Chouhan


Bhopal :  March , 2018 : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had darshan of Mata at Ashapura Dham of village Guradiya Soyat of district Agar Malwa today. After that he participated in the programme of Akhil Bhartiya Paliwal Samaj.

CM Chouhan while addressing the programme of Akhil Bhartiya Paliwal Mahajan Samaj said that a state wide campaign will be conducted to preserve rain water. He made announcement to open a college at village Guradiya Soyat from the next academic session and Rs. 96 lakh for construction of road up to Maa Harsiddhi Mandir of Bijanagri of Badowd .

Chouhan stated that a campaign will be conducted to fulfill the resolution to supply water to each farm of the state from the month of May. All the small and big water structures will be constructed under the campaign. He informed that in this connection provision of Rs. 500 crore has been made. He urged people to lend their full cooperation for water conservation work of the government.

Moreover, the Chief Minister while informing about the public welfare schemes of the state government on the occasion said that the state government is working constantly towards the agriculture development and farmers’ welfare. He informed that gram, red lentil and mustard will be purchased on the support price in the state from April 10 and the state government will give bonus at the rate of Rs. 100 per quintal on these crops. He further said that an arrangement of Rs. 1600 crore towards drought relief and Rs. 1700 crore for crop insurance has been made. He also elaborated on the facilities being provided to the farmers in the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan mentioned that Paliwal community has tradition to protect the dignity of their daughters. He assured for all kind of assistance in construction of community hall for the convenience of the devotees, who come here to have Maa Ashapura darshan. He said that arrangement for sulabh complex functioning will be made by the Paliwal community. The Pailwal community welcomed CM Chouhan by tying a turban.
