RComm net up 9.6% QoQ to Rs171cr; revenues miss street


Reliance Communication today said its third quarter net profit rose 9.6 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 171 crore, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 1.77 percent to Rs 1,782 crore while revenues were flat at Rs 5,277 crore.

A CNBC-TV18 poll of analysts had forecast the firm to clock profit, EBITDA and revenues of Rs 180 crore, Rs 1,751 crore and Rs 5,490 crore.
The company said its revenues per minute stood at 45.2 paise versus 45 paise last quarter, while revenue per user rose from Rs 138 to Rs 142. Total minutes of usage were down 2 percent to 100.4 billion.
