Shares of JSW Steel added 4 percent intraday Thursday as company reported highest ever monthly crude steel production.
The company reported 1.46 million tones crude steel production for January 2018 (5 percent growth YoY), which is a highest ever monthly crude steel production.
The company’s Flat Rolled products production stood at 1.01 million tones and Long Rolled products production stood at 0.37 million tones.
The company had reported 147 percent rise in its Q3 net profit at Rs 1,774 crore against Rs 716 crore in the year-ago period.
At 13:24 hrs JSW Steel was quoting at Rs 300.15, up Rs 10.10, or 3.48 percent on the BSE.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 313.95 and 52-week low Rs 175.05 on 02 February, 2018 and 10 March, 2017, respectively.
Currently, it is trading 4.4 percent below its 52-week high and 71.47 percent above its 52-week low.moneycontrol
