HTC is developing a new virtual reality game for its Vive headset called Front Defense which is rumoured to be unveiled at the Computex conference next week. Not much has been disclosed regarding the game apart from the fact that it will be a “wartime shooter game.’’
A report by VentureBeat explains that the new game will put players on a battlefield to fight off waves of enemies with a variety of weapons. The company has started a VR software studio which will help build experiences for its Vive headset peripheral for PCs.
The game uses classic personal weapons, from pistols, rifles, submachine guns, hand grenades to anti-tank rockets, which claims to offer an actual experience fierce fighting on the battlefield various activities and war soldiers.
