New Delhi: Ford India on Monday reported a 15.86 per cent increase in total sales at 16,470 units in last month.
The carmaker had registered total sales of 14,215 units in April 2015.
Domestic sales rose 32.44 per cent to 6,531 units last month compared to 4,931 units in the year-ago period, Ford India said in a statement.
Exports during the month grew 7.05 per cent to 9,939 units from 9,284 units in April 2015, it added.
“Our three-pronged brand transformation strategy based on introducing products that customers want and value, addressing the cost of ownership perception and delivering a differentiated customer experience has enabled us to deliver above industry growth rate,” said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director-marketing, sales and service at Ford India.
