The event that was held at the Ambassador’s Sky Chef Office space in Mumbai was inaugurated by Dr. Tanvi Ghole, General Physician and Hospital Administer and Amrita Parab,Nutritionist & Patient Relationship Manager at Digestive Health Institute by Dr.Muffi by kindling the lamp of wellness. After a brief introductory session with the audience comprising of 30 female employees from Ambassador’s Sky Chef, a mass discourse was conducted through a Q&A round to interpret the plausible reasons to achieve the goal of wellness and healthy living for both homemakers and working professionals. Dr. Tanvi Ghole apprised the audience about the repercussions of Obesity and how this disease triggers or fuel other lifestyle diseases. These diseases turns out to be the key contributors to an unbalanced livingin the contemporary times.The audience were also educated about the contribution of nutrition, daily dietary intake, optimum sugar and oil consumption, portion control, role of home-made edibles, food at work place and the benefaction of balanced diet by Ms.Amrita Parab.
The seminar was followed by specialised medical consultation for each employee with an aim to analyse the health problems on an individual basis by calculating and checking each person’s BMI ratio, blood sugar and blood pressure level. Continuing to the process of health analysis and consultation, Digestive Health Institute by Dr.Muffi invited the employees for a free consultation at their clinic from March 8, 2018 to March 15, 2018.
