Bengaluru, September 13, 2019: The Bengaluru arm of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI) has contributed INR 3 crores to the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund, in the wake of the floods in different regions across Karnataka. CREDAI Bengaluru office-bearers handed over the cheque to B S Yediyurappa, Chief Minister of Karnataka at Krishna Guest House.

M Jayeshankar, Past President, CREDAI Bengaluru, Ashish Puravankara, Immediate Past President, CREDAI Bengaluru, Bhaskar T Nagendrappa, President – Elect, CREDAI Bengaluru, R Krishna, Treasurer, CREDAI Bengaluru and Anil Nayak, CEO, CREDAI Karnataka met Chief Minister and handed over the cheque. The donation towards the CM’s fund was contributed by its member developers.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishore Jain, President, CREDAI Bengaluru said, “As a responsible organization, we would like to support the flood victims in reconstructing their entire life. Natural disasters like floods cause a lot of damage to the livelihood of people by affecting their daily life and creating imbalance in the environment. It is important to support them to rebuild their life and CREDAI is always taking such initiatives to reach out to the people in their difficult times.”
“People struggle their entire life to build their family and house. One disaster like a flood can turn upside down a family’s entire fortune that they have built over the years. This is when they require support to bring their lives back to normalcy. Floods in Karnataka have caused a lot of damage to the people and their properties. It is the responsibility of each and every person to help the victims to overcome this situation,” said R Nagaraj, Vice President, CREDAI National.
